This part is made out of high strength 7075 T6 aluminum and is designed for the ZL/T series of the RailCore II printers with a focus on weight reduction and strength.

We know that every gram counts on the moving parts of a core XY printer and we found that we could make our parts even lighter and stronger by switching from 6061 to 7075 aluminum.  With that mind, we have taken this extra step with our 7075 series of parts, to further enhance the performance of your printer.

This part mounts your E3D Hemera hot end (not included) to the Railcore Y axis linear rail using 3 of the Hemera mounting points and the stock Hemera hardware.  This part weighs approximately 29g with the removable full metal strain relief and 24g without.

This part is optimized for our 7075 belt retainer, sold separately here, but is fully compatible with all belt retainers.  For maximum strength all tapped holes are form tapped and all needed screws are included with the purchase.  There are 2 M3 tapped holes for mounting the bltouch/height sensor (not included), 4 M3 tapped holes for the mounting the belt retainer, and 2 M3 tapped holes for the full metal strain relief.  There are also 2 M2 tapped holes for mounting the Y axis end stop switch (not included) and 2 M3 tapped holes for mounting your cooling solution of choice (compatible with the popular James Tongue cooling solution).
