This attractive full metal bed platform has a minimalist design to reduce weight while still maintaining the needed strength, and it comes in 2 pieces in order to minimize shipping costs.  The 2 pieces are joined together by extrusions attached by screws to the underside of the bed platform pieces.  This bed platform is intended to be used with 2 1515 extrusions of 20in long, but the design will accommodate 2 or 3, extrusions, up to a 2020 size.  This kit can be purchased with either 0, 2, or 3, 20in 1515 extrusions to allow for maximum flexibility.  If 1515 extrusions are purchased as part of this kit the needed mounting hardware is included.

Each of the 2 bed platform pieces are approx 18x13in and have 18 M3 pass through holes for attaching up to 3 extrusion reinforcements to the bottom side of the bed platform.  There are 8 standard mounting holes for attaching either the stock heated bed or the 713Maker heated bed (sold here), and 24 M3 tapped holes for mounting linear guides and lead screws (hardware included).  The lead screw nut has mounting holes for both a standard 4 bolt, 16mm spacing pattern / 22mm flange, and a 4 bolt, 22m spacing / 30mm flange.  This allows the use of the stock FT-6 lead screw nuts or most anti-backlash (regular and large) nuts.  You will reuse the stock hardware to attach the heated bed to the bed platform.
