We have leveraged the properties of 7075 aluminum to allow us to more freedom in the design aesthetic while still maintaining the needed strength in our parts.

This part is designed for the ZL/T series of the RailCore II printers.

The full metal Y plate mounts to your X Axis slider and replaces the 3D printed Y plate. With form tapped M3 holes, brass inserts are a thing of the past. We understand that ultralight weight and stiffness is of the utmost importance in the drive train of the Railcore series of printers.

This 19 gram part has been redesigned from our original ultralight Y plate.  This part is now made from high strength 7075 aluminum and has been made even lighter and stronger.  It still has beautiful shiny faces and sides with chamfered edges.

This part was primarily designed to be compatible with all metal belt retainers (ours is available here). The 4 primary belt retainer attachment points on this Y plate remain  the same and therefore this part is fully compatible with all 3D printed belt retainers, even though we have removed the center (5th) attachment hole.  The redesign also includes the various other weight reduction-strength enhancing changes.
