This part is made out of high strength 7075 T6 aluminum and is designed for the ZL/T series of the RailCore II printers with a focus on weight reduction and strength.

We know that every gram counts on the moving parts of a core XY printer and we found that we could make our parts even lighter and stronger by switching from 6061 to 7075 aluminum.  With that mind, we have taken this extra step with our 7075 series of parts, to further enhance the performance of your printer.

This full metal part mounts your Euclid probe (click here to add the probe to your order) to the Railcore Y plate or Hemera mount.  There are 2 versions of this probe mount available.  One version is designed for and intended for use with either the stock, 713Maker ultralight, or 7075 Y plates; and the 713Maker Hemera mount.  The second version is slightly larger and is intended for use with the Mandala Rose Works (MRW) Y plate and Hemera mount.  Compatibility with other brands of Y plates or Hemera mounts is not guaranteed.  Please contact us with any compatibility concerns prior to purchasing.

This mount has been designed with slotted attachment points to provide maximum probe height adjustability, giving you a total of approximately 6mm of up and down travel.  This mount comes in 2 parts that are screwed together (2 screws included).  This kit also includes an electrically insulating shield that fits snugly between the mount and the probe. The probe mount also features 2 tapped holes used to attach your Euclid probe (screws included).  This assembled probe mount (not including the Euclid probe) weighs in at an extremely light 6.5g (approx) total.
