This full metal heated bed is designed for the Rat Rig V-Core 3 printers. 

Milled from .250 (6.35mm) 5083 cast aluminum alloy tool plate. 5083 cast tool plate is flat with milled front and back faces to produce a high quality build platform for the Rat Rig series of printers.  3 sizes are offered.  This listing is for the 329x329mm size.  The 529x529mm size is sold here and the 429x429mm size is sold here.

This heated bed is based off of the Rat Rig open source files.  This heated bed features 6 pass through mounting holes countersunk for M5 screws making it compatible with both standard 3 (V-Cast) and 4 (V-Core 3 Kinematic) screw mount printers.  It also has extra accessory holes to use as you please for bed grounding, thermal fuses, etc. The edges are chamfered to produce a beautiful finishing touch to this flat heated bed platform. The backside is milled flat and ready to mount a silicone heater pad (not included).

We take great care to provide the highest quality milled aluminum heated beds, but minor tooling marks or superficial surface marks may be present from time to time. We always strive to be sure the build surface is free of defects that will effect printing. To prolong the life of your bed, we urge you to never print directly on the aluminum surface to avoid damaging the bed surface and impact future print quality.  Although we do use tool plate aluminum and stringent quality control, please inspect your bed for defects and levelness prior to installing any accessories onto the bed.  We are not responsible for accessories (heaters, thermistors, wasted filament, etc.).  If you feel that there is an issue with your bed please feel free to contact us for assistance.

Please read note the bed is milled from cast aluminum toolplate and it adheres to the industry standards for flatness of cast aluminum toolplate.
