This is a set of 3 metal thrust bearing plates made out of high strength 7075 T6 aluminum for the Railcore 300ZL, 300ZLT and, 250ZL printers. This kit includes 3 thrust bearing mounting plates, 3 all metal bearings, and all needed screws.

These thrust bearing plates are designed to disperse the Z-axis assembly weight away from your motor.  Relieving weight from the motor can prolong the motor life and allow for a more accurate motor movements.  Each plate is designed so that the included, all metal, thrust bearings sit inside a recessed pocket.  The top surface of the bearing assembly sits slightly above the recess by 0.5mm and allows the shaft coupler to rotate freely atop the bearing without touching or rubbing the thrust bearing mounting plate.  This 100% all metal solution is ideal for use in high-temperature printing environments.  

These thrust bearing plates are very low profile and there is a loss of less than 1.25mm of Z height, when in use.  They are designed to fit all standard NEMA 17 mounting points and mount seamlessly to the stock RailCore baseplate and the 713Maker.com 6mm baseplate, however is not compatible with 3mm baseplates. They are designed to work with NEMA 17 steppers with a 5mm wide shaft with a shaft length of between 17mm-20mm long (tested with Railcore stock LDO-42STH40-1684MAC motors) and motor couplings with no less than 12mm of shaft recess.

Please note:  This kit is not compatible with 3mm baseplates.
