Effector Plate (only) -
Choose the type of effector plate based on what arms you have
Our effector plate is fully compatible with our standard, under mount and chimira/cyclops hot end mounts (found here).
When using our mount system combined with our effector plate, we have discovered that you’ll need to add 2mm (for U Joint style) or 4mm (for Ball Cup style) to your normal spacer length, due to the thin design of our effector plate. For example when using a E3D v6 hot end with our U Joint effector plate, we recommend using a 36mm spacer instead of a 34mm. (Additional spacers can be ordered here.)
Another option to adjust for the thin effector plate design, would be to change the height of your layer fan, since you may find that it initially blows on the heater block of the hot end.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions!
What are the benefits of these effector plates?
Our effector plates are created with the maker in mind and are fully compatible with all of our hot end mounts.
Our effector plates are made from precision tool plate aluminum which will provide amazing stability and will help to maintain your machine’s accuracy. They don’t flex and have a more open center, allowing for more flexiability in your hot end selection and printer setup.
The custom finishing and colors provide your machine with that extra pop of color.
The mounts were designed to allow for you to easily change out hot ends by removing only a few screws. No more having the entire assembly fall apart in your hands just to change out a single part.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are currently not accepting Rostock Max/Orion orders.
